2010-2011 Team
What a great team we had this year! Thank you! You have left your legacy here; now continue to do good.
Jordan, Brad, Brian, Janette, Lauryn, Meg, Lizzy, Carli, Tori, Chante, Jacob, Blake, Landon, and Garrin
p.s. You would hardly recognize campus. Fern Young Hall is gone, and the entire corner is excavated. Work is underway for the new dorm. Fun stuff!

Thank You!
During the last month, I have randomly heard from nine of you former students, and I wanted to say thanks. ...Thanks for keeping in touch. ...Thanks for doing good things in life. ...Thanks for remembering Snow and the Little Larsen Family. Working with and hearing from you is perhaps the most rewarding part of my work. I continue to expect great things from you! - Marci

Still Working...

How time flies! It's hard to believe we'll soon be writing 2011! We have another great group of students this year. Here's a photo of the first "team bonding" outing at the GBEEC.
This semester we've helped with Homecoming and the dedication of the Huntsman Library (which you MUST see!) while still taking care of the Noyes Building and answering the phones.
Plans are now being made for the Bowl game. Let us know if you plan to watch the Badgers at Rio Tinto Stadium on December 4; a PLT reunion could be fun.
Team Members: Lauryn Colledge, Tori Babb, Jacob Hanberg, Lizzy Scott, Blake Nielson, Garrin Abbott, Brad Nielson, Brian Vawdrey, Landon Hitchcock, Meg Jenkins, Chante Birch, Jordan Blackham, Carli Sorensen, Janette Stevens, Tyler Richardson, and - of course - Little Larsens

Updates from the Noyes Building!
Finally! News from your favorite little Snow College!!
This is Kaitlyn Averett writing to you. I just graduated from this amazing college, and have been on the President's Leadership Team for two years now. I'm sure most of you would agree that working in the Noyes Building has been (or was) one of the best opportunities, and one of the best learning experiences for all team members. I wouldn't trade it for anything!!
But enough about me...
Snow College is staying very busy and always has something exciting going on. Currently, as most of you know, we are in the process of building the new Karen H. Huntsman Library which is just about finished. This library has all the belles and whistles:
"It has dozens of small group study rooms, a Borders-like cafe (you can eat anywhere in the library), a large outside terrace off the third level for good weather studying or group events, a large fireplace surrounded with beautiful fossil stone, updated technology, two high tech auditoriums, oh, and, books!" (Found on President Wyatt's blog.)
All too quickly it went from this:
To this:
Everyone is bursting with excitement to study in a new (and incredibly beautiful) library.
(When they allow me in those doors... I'll get you some pictures from the inside.)
Another exciting update is our wonderful boss Marci had a beautiful little girl on July 9th! Brenna is adorable, healthy, and from the pictures I've seen - Kaystan and Jessica can't get enough of her! We are all so excited for the cute addition to the Larsen family.
As always, we would love to get some updates from you and maybe even hear a fun Snow College experience or two!
Stay in touch and don't forget to spread that wonderful Snow College cheer :)

A New Year
It's a new year, and that always causes reflection time for me. My work-related thoughts have turned to gratitude. I'm grateful for many things...
...the opportunity to work at such a great place; I consider my job a hobby
...the opportunity to meet students on their first visit to campus (do you remember that?)
...the opportunity to hire great students and interact with them
...the opportunity to see their struggles and successes
...the opportunity to learn from them
...the opportunity to have their influence in our home and on my family
So many good things come to me from you, and I wanted to say thanks. I enjoy reading each of your blogs and following your lives. Please let me know if you know where other former PLTs are. I would love to reconnect with them. We don't post on this page too often, but I do check almost daily to see who has updated their personal blogs. Hope you don't mind my "spying" on you!
Best wishes to each of you for a happy 2010!

(I know; you are stunned that I actually figured out how to do a post. We'll see if it actually works!)

The Start of Something Great!

Some of us are back for round two, and some of us are just starting on a wonderful journey here at Snow College. School is officially in session which means the PLTs are working at full force! We have a great team this year and we are all looking forward to a great year! This years roster consists of returning Sophomores Kaityln Averett, Whitney Bennington, Tana Clark (one of our great team leaders), Meagan Dyreng, Maben Larsen (the other great team leader), Tara Lemon, and let's not forget our amazing boss Marci Larsen! And now for our beginning freshman Seri Adams, Skyler Beckstrand, Chante Birch, Lauryn Colledge, Jacob Hanberg, Torrey Hart, Greg Nelson, Tyler Richardson, Jake Sheiss, and Carli Sorenson.
We are off to a great year already and hope that the greatness never ceases! How could it though...Snow is great in and of itself! We're ready to take on anything that needs to be done...and then some! Welcome to all the new PLTs and welcome back all the returning ones! Thanks Marci for being our fearless leader! Thank you Snow College for the wonderful opportunity you have given all of us!
This post we would like to tell Skyler Happy Birthday and Carli, Congrats on your engagement!

We Survived!
Graduation was a day of water.
Water coming from the sky and water coming from our eyes!
We all survived another amazing Marci-Ran-Event! It is hard to say goodbye to our great Sophomore PLTs, but also exciting to organize and make another great President's Leadership Team!
I personally will always have the best part of my heart reserved for Snow College!
Go Badgers!
